Lady Gaga has got naked to remind her Little Monsters that the first single from her forthcoming third album Artpop is out next month.

The Born This Way singer wore nothing but a pair of black ankle boots and some eccentric glasses as she posed on a chair made out of memory boards, protecting her modesty her strategically placed limbs.

Gaga’s comeback single, rumoured to be called Applause, will hit shelves on August 19.

’1ST SINGLE FROM ARTPOP COMES AUG.19 #24DAYS,’ the 27-year-old hitmaker tweeted alongside the image which has also doubled up as her new Twitter profile picture.

Gaga will perform the hotly anticipated track at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in New York on August 25.

Artpop is due to hit shelves on November 11.
